AFC Social Responsibility Seminar
"Holistic Development through Social Responsibility"

In conjunction with the AFC U-I4 Regional Festival of Football 2016, the Asian Football Confederation through NFABD, is holding a one-day seminar themed "Holistic Development through Social Responsibility".

The seminar is held at NFABD House’s Multipurpose Hall.

Four speakers will deliver their topics; Dr Annathurai Ranganathan, AFC Head of Social Responsibility, will deliver the topic "AFC SR and Social Development in Football", Mr Mike Wong, NFABD Technical Director on "Social Engagement: How we use Football as a Tool, Social Development in Brunei", Dr Danish Zaherudin, Chief officer at Sports Medicine & Research Center of the Youth & Sports Department will deliver "Anti-Doping" and Dr Rachvind Singh will deliver "Health Awareness".

A total of 50 participants from the government sector, private sector, undergrads, NGO's make up for the attendance in this seminar.

An opening ceremony was held where the guest of honor, Pengiran Haji Mohiddin bin Pengiran Haji Badarudin, NFABD's General Secretary, was present to deliver his opening speech.

This seminar is part two of the four social responsibility campaign programmes that Friday. July 22 until Monday, 25 July 2016.

The seminar starts at 8.30am and ends at 4.15pm.

Dr Annathurai also delivered his keynote address in this seminar.
