Brunei fall to Chinese Taipei

The national Under-15 team fell 2-1 to hosts Chinese Taipei in their second game of the 2018 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-16 Championship qualifiers earlier today.
Despite taking the lead in the 10th minute through Hirman Latip, Brunei were unable to hold on and let in two goals in the second half - with Chinese Taipei's winner coming in injury time.
"The boys played well and tried their best, but we were unlucky to concede the injury time goal to lose the game," said national Under-15 head coach Stephen Ng.
Brunei opened their campaign with a 4-0 win over Macau.
They play North Korea on Wednesday and end the Group F qualifiers against Hong Kong on Friday.
