SIXTEEN goalkeepers aged from 10 to 16-years-old have registered for the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam’s (NFABD) Open Goalkeeper Training Session at the NFABD Artificial Turf Field tomorrow morning.
Conducted by Japanese Suzuki Daichi (pic), who was a goalkeeper coach at J-League 2 side Thespakusatsu Gunma and the Chinese Taipei national women’s team, registration is still open for the half-day training session.
Registration will open at 7.30am and the training session is expected to end at 10am.
Coaches who are interested to attend the session to assist and observe can also do so by registering tomorrow.
Participants and coaches are required to wear complete training attire.
NFABD’s six national team goalkeeper coaches and eight club coaches will also attend tomorrow’s training session to help with logistics and to assist and observe.
Daichi is in Brunei to assist the national Under-18 goalkeepers before they travel to South Korea to compete in the 2018 Asian Football Confederation (AF) Under-19 Championship qualifiers later this month.
During his two-week stay in Brunei which started on Monday, Daichi will be also involved in practical and theoretical sessions with national youth goalkeeping coaches and young goalkeepers from NFABD's youth teams
