Brunei will keep working hard
Sunday, December 3, 2017

BRUNEI will keep on working hard when they face Kyrgyzstan in their second game of the Aceh World Solidarity Cup in Aceh, Indonesia, tomorrow (Monday).

The team fell 4-0 to hosts Indonesia in their first game of the four-team invitational tournament last night, with all the goals coming from set pieces - three from free kicks and one from a corner kick.

Despite the defeat, head coach Stephen Ng praised his players’ competitive spirit and insists the loss has not dampened the team’s morale.

“We competed well against an experienced Indonesian side,” explained Ng today.

“And tomorrow, we will continue to work hard against Kyrgyzstan,” he added.

Brunei end their campaign against Mongolia on Wednesday.
