Under-16 Youth League teams given a boost
Friday, February 9, 2018

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) today handed out football equipment to the teams participating in the Under-16 Youth League.

Managers and coaches from the 15 participating teams received jerseys, shorts, socks, shinpads, football boots, goalkeeper gloves and balls from NFABD Vice President Acting Vice President Hj Madli Mohd Yussof.

The equipment was provided by FIFA to support the Under-16 Youth League, which they are doing for the third year.

After two years of successfully organising the Under-16 league, NFABD is taking a big step forward by increasing the number of teams from 10 to 15.

For the first time, NFABD will also be organising an Under-19 league, which will see 20 teams competing this year.

Also for the first time, all youth games will be hosted in their respective districts. NFABD would like to thank the Department of Youth and Sports for their support as well as the various government and international schools for allowing NFABD the use of their fields for the leagues.
