MOU signing between Chinese FA with NFABD

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) and the Chinese Football Association (CFA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the CFA’s headquarters in Beijing last Monday, 2 September 2019.
Both football associations started the day with a bilateral meeting discussing the shared vision on football development followed up by the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement was signed by His Royal Highness Prince Sufri Bolkiah, President of NFABD and Mr Chen Xuyuan, President of CFA (newly elected).
His Royal Highness Prince Sufri Bolkiah also had the opportunity to meet His Excellency Du Zhaocai, Deputy minister of China's State General Administration of Sport who is also the Vice President of CFA in a bilateral meeting.
President of NFABD also had been invited to visit the CFA headquarters.
Prior to this MoU back in May 2019, Brunei Darussalam National Team had under-went their training camp in China, supported by CFA in preparation for the World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifier before they depart to Mongolia. The MoU encompasses the football governance, football international relations, to host training camp, exchanging football knowledge and experiences focusing towards the enhancement of football structure, technical expertise, capacity building, referee development as well as commercialization.
This agreement marks a new beginning of NFABD and CFA’s fellowship, and a significant step forward that focuses on dissemination of knowledge and exchange programmes in order to cooperate together for further development of football in both Brunei Darussalam and China.
