NFABD helps mosque cleaning efforts

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) today hired a local cleaning company to sanitise Masjid Jame ‘Asr Hassanal Bolkiah, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to combat the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Besides that, the initiative was also a way for the association to give back to the community, which is by reinforcing efforts by the government and the people in ensuring public places such as Masjid remained clean and safe.
NFABD President Pengiran Haji Matusin Pengiran Haji Matasan said: “NFABD felt the sentiment of the nation and sees it as its responsibility to participate in ongoing efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19.”
“What is currently being done today brings us the hope that public places such as Masjid Jame ‘Asr Hassanal Bolkiah, a place that sees frequently sees visits from local and foreign congregants and visitors, to remain clean and safe.”
NFABD, said the President, is also ready to assist any stakeholders should there be any need in the future.
And from us, NFABD, we pray that Brunei and all of its people to remain safe, and that COVID-19 will soon be gone so we can resume our lives as how it is before the virus came.”
