Calling all aspiring referees
Tuesday, September 22, 2020

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) via its Referee Department will be hosting a Class 3 Basic Football Refereeing Course next month.

Welcoming participants of age 18 to 35, the five-day course aimed to cultivate young and aspiring referees to better improve Brunei Darussalam’s football environment, as well as to increase the talent pool to succeed the current line-up of referees available in the country.

Throughout the programme, participants will be taught the basic standards in the laws of the game. They will also be taught related theories and given practical lessons on the field. Participants will also undergo a fitness test during the course.

The course will be held on October 18, 23, 25, 30 and November 1.

Applicants are required to be in good shape, sight and health.

There will be a fee of $50. Interested parties who wished to join the programme can register online via our website, or collect and fill the form at our NFABD House, Jalan Pusat Persidangan Berakas.

Applicants are required to submit a copy of their IC along with their passport-sized photo. Leeway in working time is an individual responsibility for applicants who are employed.

NFABD reserved the rights to reject applications that do not meet the set requirements – with their registration fees returned should the association decided to do so.

Deadline for submission is on 7 October 2020, not later than 4.30pm.

For further enquiries, please contact NFABD via 238 0047.
